New Range Rover Velar - First Edition P380

Quando si parla di auto di lusso si finisce sempre con il dire che «viaggiare in quest'auto è come stare seduti nel salotto di casa propria». Niente di più sbagliato in questo caso.
Ho avuto la possibilità di entrare nella nuova Velar, la prima versione, edizione limitata, per non dire la versione più costosa (ben 112.400 €) e non mi sembrava affatto di essere seduto nel salotto di casa mia.
La nuova Velar è qualcosa di più di un semplice salotto.
Quando sono seduto sul mio divano non sto così comodo e spesso mi rigiro per trovare la posizione giusta, ma l'effetto di quest'auto è l'esatto contrario. Ti siedi, ammiri l'ambiente super tecnologico e minimal che ti circonda e dopo qualche decina di minuti ti rendi conto di quanto i sedili stiano facendo bene alla tua schiena. Insomma i sedili sono la prima cosa che si prova in un'auto e sono anche la cosa più importante, se si vuole viaggiare comodi. E poi il mio divano non ha la funzione massaggio.
Credetemi, questa è meglio di casa vostra e, pensate, va anche più veloce.
La versione di cui parliamo è, infatti, la P380 che monta un motore 3.0 cc V6 Supercharged alimentato a benzina che eroga ben 380cv. I 100 km/h li raggiunge in meno di 6 secondi...non male per un'auto di 4.8 metri e le quasi 2 tonnellate di peso.
Come si addice ad ogni buon salotto anche la Velar ha il suo televisore. Forse più di uno e ha anche un buon impianto stereo (sistema surround Meridian con 22 altoparlanti), per non far mancare niente ai passeggeri. Per questo, lo ripeto, è meglio di casa nostra.
Se guardate la plancia troverete ben due schermi touch da cui è possibile controllare tutto dell'auto: dalla musica alla strada. Il numero degli schermi arriva anche a tre se si considera quello del cruscotto, che a sua volta riassume tutte le informazioni mostrate dagli altri due.
Insomma tecnologia ovunque e piacere di guida assicurato. Nei viaggi notturni a farci compagnia ci saranno le luci soffuse che seguono i profili dell'auto.
Gli esterni parlano da soli. Gruppi ottici Matrix-laser Led, cerchi da 22'' e ovviamente le nuove forme aggressive e imponenti, tipiche di una Range Rover.
Impressioni positive senza dubbio, ma ora è il momento di guardarla ↓↓↓


When speaking about luxury cars we always ended up saying " travelling with this car is as being seated on your sofa in your own home. But , this is not the case.
I had the chance to try the new Velar, the first version, limited edition, that is the most expensive version ( 112,400 € ) and I absolutely didn't feel of being seated on my own sofa. The new Velar is really something more than a normal sofa.
When I am seating on my sofa, it is not so comfortable and I am often trying to find the satisfactory position, but in this car , all is really different.
You sit down, you really admire the minimal and super technological environment all around you and, after a little, realise how much the seats are comfortable for your back. So , the seats are the first and fundamental feature you test in a car, if you want to be travelling comfortably. And, what's more........my sofa is not programmed for giving massages!
Believe me....this car is better than your home , and......guess......it's even faster!!!
The version we are talking about is, in fact, the P380 that has a 3 cc. V6 supercharged petrol engine and supplies a 380 cv horsepower. In less than 6 seconds , it reaches 100km/h.......not too bad for a car whose length is 4,8 m and weighs almost 2 tons !
As it is needed in every sitting room, the Velar has its own TV ,too. Maybe more than one and also a goos stereo system ( surround Meridian system with 22 speakers), for making sure passengers don't miss anything.
For this reason, I repeat ,this car is better than your own home.
Looking at the dashboard, you'll find two touchscreens that allow you to control everything in the car: from the music to the road.
The number of the screens can be three ,  also considering the central dashboard, which in turn is able to show all the information displayed by the other two screens.
Hence, technology everywhere and driving pleasure guaranteed.
The suffused lights following the car's profile will accompany us during our nocturnal travels.
The exteriors are amazing: matrix laser led headlights, 22" alloy wheels and, obviously, the new strong and impressive design, typical for a Range Rover.
Good impressions without any doubts, but.....now, it's time to watch it.
